Duesback

Fees

Duesback charges success fees only. Nothing upfront, no subscription, no card on file unless you choose autopay, no fee when nothing was won.

Minimum fee: $1. Fees are in US dollars. Fees above $100 are split in two installments, above $300 in three, due 7, 37 and 67 days after the win.

When a fee is created

The moment your Muse reports the win with evidence: a confirmation number, the rep's name, or the chat excerpt, plus the new price or the refund amount. That is how every bill-negotiation service works, and it is when the win is fresh.

A report without evidence or without the numbers is not billed. It waits, and the fee is created only if your next bank data shows the saving.

Your 48 hours

Every fee comes with a 48-hour objection window. Tell Muse "dispute this fee" or reply to the fee email, and every unpaid installment goes on hold while a person looks at it, within 5 business days. Nothing is collected while a fee is on hold, and audits keep running.

The guarantee

Your next audits check the win against your bank data for 90 days. If the lower price never posts, the cancelled service keeps charging, or the refund never arrives, the fee is reversed automatically: unpaid installments are cancelled and paid ones are refunded in full to the card you used. You get an email either way.

How you pay

Each installment is a one-time Stripe Checkout link. Muse can open it for you and you approve the total in chat; you can also open it from the email. Pay with Link or any card. Duesback never stores a card unless you turn on autopay.

Autopay is optional. Tell Muse "enable autopay", save a card on Stripe's page, and installments are charged automatically 48 hours after the fee is created unless you disputed it. The 90-day guarantee applies the same way. "Disable autopay" removes the card.

An installment unpaid after its due date pauses new audits until it is paid or disputed. No interest, no collections, no retries.

How the first-year saving is calculated

Old recurring amount minus new recurring amount, multiplied by the number of charges in a year for that cadence: 52 for weekly, 26 for every two weeks, 12 for monthly, 4 for quarterly, 1 for yearly. A cancellation counts the old amount as the saving. A refund counts the amount the provider agreed to return.

Disputes after paying

Reply to any receipt within 30 days. We refund the fee in full if the saving did not materialize. After 30 days, the automatic 90-day guarantee still covers reversals seen in your data. A promotional rate that expires after the guarantee window does not undo a win.

Stopping

Say "Duesback, disconnect" to Muse at any time. Your key is revoked and your stored signatures and findings are deleted. Fees created before you stopped remain due.
